Female fertility testing
Hormonal Blood Tests — FSH, LH And AMH
- Blood tests give a snapshot of ovarian function.
- FSH and LH measure how the body cycles. AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) estimates egg reserve.
- Each result is evaluated in relation to age and cycle timing. That context matters.
- A single number without explanation does little; we translate results into clear next steps.
Follicle Tracking Ultrasound
Follicle tracking follows follicle growth across a cycle. It shows whether and when ovulation occurs. The scan is quick and non-invasive. We schedule it to match your cycle, so timing is accurate. For many patients, a few scans remove doubt about ovulation and point to the best days to try.
Male Fertility Testing
Semen analysis measures sperm count, motility and morphology. It is the main test for male fertility. Samples are collected privately and analysed in accredited labs. Results are straightforward. They tell us whether lifestyle change, medical tests or referral to a specialist urologist are needed. Clear data leads to clear options.
Couple Fertility Assessments
Testing together makes sense. Fertility is rarely the result of a single factor. One partner may have a mild issue that only becomes relevant when combined with the other partner’s problem. Our couple fertility checks bring both sets of results into one consultation. You get a single plan you can follow together.
What To Expect During Your Fertility Check
First, a focused consultation. We take reproductive history and discuss previous tests. Then we arrange the right checks: hormonal profile, blood tests, AMH, FSH and LH if needed; a follicle tracking ultrasound where indicated; and semen analysis if relevant. Results are reviewed in a follow-up appointment. There, we explain findings plainly and outline options.
Privacy matters. We work in a respectful, confidential setting. You decide how much of the process you want shared between partners. We will support that choice.
Core diagnostic tests explained
- Hormonal Profile Test: Reveals ovarian reserve and cycle function. Essential for planning timing and next steps.
- AMH Test: It offers an estimate of egg quantity. It is one part of the picture, not a full verdict.
- FSH and LH Blood Tests: They show whether ovulation is likely and how the endocrine system is performing.
- Follicle Tracking Ultrasound/Ovulation Tracking Scan: It monitors follicles to pinpoint ovulation. Useful for timed conception or fertility treatment planning.
- Semen Analysis Test: It evaluates sperm health and informs male-focused treatment or lifestyle advice.
